Monster Colour 5k Edmonton
Monster Colour 5k is a colour run and festival held at Northeast River Valley Park, 903 153 Ave NE, Edmonton. The event features a 5 km loop with inflatable monsters placed around the course, four colourful powder stations, bubbles and music. The route finishes in a festival area with a DJ, entertainment and merchandise stalls. Finishers receive a medal depending on ticket type.
Ticket options include a festival only ticket, the Monster 5k for all ages, and Little Monsters tickets for young children who want a finisher medallion, colour packs, a buff and a light up headband. Pricing includes early bird periods and varies by ticket type.
Logistics: there is no pre event race kit pick up and kits are not shipped. Registration staff will be increased on event day to speed service. Parking in and around the park is free. Start waves are sent out every ten minutes. Wheelchairs and strollers are permitted but the course terrain may vary and include hills, roads, pathways, grass and unpaved trails.
Safety and rules: faster runners should keep left while walkers and strollers keep right. Participants aged eight and under must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or older.
