Moor Park 10 and More
Moor Park 10 and More is an annual fundraising event organised by East & North Herts Hospitals' Charity that supports Mount Vernon Cancer Centre and helps fund the Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre. The event marks its 25th year and takes place across the grounds of Merchant Taylors’ School, Moor Park Golf Course and the Moor Park estate.
Event options include a chip-timed, UKA-validated closed-road 10 km run, walk options, and a set of junior fun runs. All finishers receive a medal and a free event t-shirt while stock lasts. Entry offers include free charity places as well as paid entries, with fees up to 25 GBP.
Distances and junior categories:
- 10 km run : closed road, UKA, chip-timed
- 5 km March for Mount Vernon walk
- 3.9 km junior fun run for school years 8–10
- 2.6 km junior fun run for school years 6–7
- 1.3 km junior fun run for school years 3–5
- 850 m junior fun run for school years 2 and under
Free parking is available at Merchant Taylors’ School. The event is presented as a community occasion with fundraising proceeds directed to Mount Vernon Cancer Centre. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
