Edge to Edge Marathon
The Edge to Edge Marathon takes place in Ucluelet on the west coast of Vancouver Island. The event uses sections of the Wild Pacific Trail, a packed gravel coastal path through temperate rainforest, and runs through the West Coast town of Ucluelet.
Race options listed on the event include:
- Half Marathon: starts in Ucluelet, passes harbour and Boat Basin, returns via Wild Pacific Trail.
- 10 km: course runs through Ucluelet, past the small craft harbour and Amphitrite Lighthouse.
Both races finish at the Community Centre. The half marathon route follows the Tofino-Ucluelet Highway briefly, turns near Millstream, then returns along the Wild Pacific Trail with ocean views, rocky bluffs and rainforest scenery. The 2026 marathon course will make use of the trail and its undulating sections.
The event is supported by volunteers and sponsors; volunteering and sponsorship are listed as ways to take part. The organiser also provides route maps and race schedules and maintains a race gallery and results from prior years. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
