adidas Stockholm Marathon 2027
adidas Stockholm Marathon takes place on 29 May 2027 and is run over the standard marathon distance 42 195 meter. The race starts on Östermalm and passes Vasastan, Kungsholmen, Stockholm City Hall, Gamla Stan with the Royal Palace, Djurgården and Södermalm before finishing at Stockholm Stadion on Lidingövägen.
The event is arranged by the athletics clubs Hässelby SK and Spårvägens FK and the website is provided by Marathongruppen i Stockholm AB. Registration reopens on 24 August 2026 and the organiser reports 4 000 spots remaining for 2027. Entry deadlines and price periods are published; payment options include bank transfer, Visa, MasterCard, Swish and invoice via Klarna. Entry is binding and fees are not refunded for no shows.
Services before, during and after the race include an expo with bib pickup, a pasta party on Friday 28 May, massage, pacemakers for a range of finish times, service stations with water, sports drink and energy supplies, live results and tracking, medical staff at aid stations and at start and finish, transport vehicles for runners who withdraw, finisher T shirt and an annual medal with a Stockholm motif. Maximum allowed time for the course is 6 hours 30 minutes and there are four intermediate cut off controls. Age limit for 2027 is born 2009 or earlier. Certain wheeled devices and walking poles are not permitted and World Athletics shoe rules apply for elite runners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
