Trail Pro-Forma
Trail Pro-Forma is a mountain trail running event at Mont Gleason on 27 September 2026, organized by Melius Mobilité Active. The event has been held since 2014 and combines trail running with an eco responsible approach to merchandise and event operations.
The program includes multiple trail distances, two timed elevation challenges and three formats of foot orienteering. Two endurance formats, a 12 hour and a 6 hour Défi D+, allow solo runners or teams of 2 to 5 to accumulate positive elevation; each ascent counts for 184 m and rankings are based on total elevation for solos and on the team average for teams. When a participant also completes another race at the event, that elevation is added to the Défi D+ total.
Timing is official for most races; the Défi D+ is not officially timed in the same way. Medals are optional at registration. Podiums are awarded for top finishers in most categories, with exceptions noted for the shortest children’s race.
On course services include water and food stations on several routes and local snacks at the finish. The event supports charitable causes: proceeds are donated to the fight against glycogen storage disease, the Fondation À Notre Santé of Hôtel Dieu d'Arthabaska, and to Mont Gleason trail maintenance. A limited on demand clothing collection is available by pre order before 17 September.
