Los Alamos NJROTC Extreme 5K and Fun Run
The event is a fundraiser for the Los Alamos NJROTC program that also raises awareness for suicide prevention and mental health. It offers in-person and virtual options and supports cadet training and program development.
The in-person races take place at Sullivan Field, 4000 University Dr., Los Alamos, NM 87544. The course for the 5K is an out-and-back route with approximately 383 feet of elevation gain. Walkers may register for the 5K.

Item distribution and registration
- In-person 5K registration fee: $50. Event includes a run tee and a swag bag for 5K finishers.
- Fun Run registration fee: $30. Event includes an event tee.
- Virtual 5K registration fee: $40. Run tee and swag bag will be mailed; items are scheduled to be sent in the first week of October.
- T-shirt giveaways end on August 30; registrations after that date will not receive a T-shirt.
- Donation discounts: $15 off for 5K or virtual 5K with a $50 or larger donation; $5 off for Fun Run with a $30 or larger donation.
- Family and Friends registration: registering four or more people at once earns $10 off each 5K participant or $5 off each Fun Run participant.
