About the race
The 48. Maraton Warszawski is a long-distance running event held in Warsaw on September 27, 2026. The competition features a classic marathon distance of 42.195 km. The course holds official certifications from PZLA and World Athletics, with distance markers placed at every kilometer and time measurement points located at 5 km intervals.
Participants can choose between two registration paths: a traditional paid registration or a charity path called #BiegamDobrze. In the charity path, runners collect funds for a chosen organization; reaching a minimum amount grants a starting number provided by the charity. The total participant limit for the main race is 14,000 people.
The event follows specific time limits for the safety and flow of the race:
- Total course limit: 6 hours 30 minutes.
- Halfway point (21.1 km): 3 hours 15 minutes.
- 30 km: 4 hours 45 minutes.
- 35 km: 5 hours 30 minutes.
- 40 km: 6 hours 15 minutes.
Entry is open to individuals who are at least 18 years old on the day of the race. The organizer provides medical service on the course and at the finish line. Each finisher receives a medal, and recovery refreshments (drink and meal) are provided at the end. Registration is available online until September 26, 2026, or until the participant limit is reached. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
