About the race
Run for Recovery RGV is a community 5K held on September 20, 2026, at Edinburg Municipal Park in Edinburg, Texas (714 S. Raul Longoria Rd., 78542). The event takes place during Recovery Month and focuses on breaking stigma, honoring recovery stories, and celebrating sobriety.
The event is presented for people who have experienced addiction, those who have supported someone through recovery, people who have lost someone to addiction, and community members who wish to show support. Each participant’s presence is framed as a public expression of solidarity and hope.
