Doctors Gate
The Doctors Gate fell race is a challenging 12.7-mile event set in the scenic landscape of Old Glossop. Participants will navigate a route that includes nearly 3000 feet of ascent, starting and finishing at the Queen's Arms. The course follows the historic packhorse route, connecting with the Pennine Way, and features notable landmarks such as Higher Shelf Stones and James Thorn.
The race is open to individuals aged 18 and over, with pre-entries closing shortly before the event. Finishers can enjoy food and a presentation ceremony with prizes.
