Trondheim Maraton
The Trondheim Maraton is an annual running event held in Trondheim, organized by Nidelv IL and Bedriftsidretten. The event spans a full weekend, with activities divided between a family-oriented day and a dedicated race day. Saturday is established as a family day featuring the Children's Minimaraton and various social activities. Sunday serves as the main race day for the longer distances.
Participants can choose from a variety of distances, many of which take place on certified C-measured courses. Training plans for selective distances and strength training programs are available through a partnership with LØFT to assist runners in their preparation. Registration is binding, and while refunds are not provided, it is possible to change distances before the race if spots are available.
The available distances include:
- Full Marathon
- Half Marathon
- 10 km (BDO-MILA)
- 5 km (TrøndelagKraft / TOBB Ung)
- Team Marathon (Relay)
- Team Half Marathon (Relay)
- Children's Minimaraton
The event aims to facilitate high capacity within the city and on the course to accommodate a large number of participants. The weekend focuses on health, community, and the experience of running through the city of Trondheim. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
