Mother's Day Classic - Hervey Bay
The Mother's Day Classic in Hervey Bay is a community fun run and walk at Urangan Pier Esplanade. The route follows the scenic parkrun path along the foreshore, starting and finishing at Urangan Pier. The course is suitable for walkers and runners and is pram and wheelchair friendly.
Event distances include:
- 5 km run
- 5 km walk
- 2 km walk
- 1 km junior dash
On event day there is an event village with check-in and registration near the covered barbeque area. Entertainment, a raffle draw, nearby food options including a coffee van and sausage sizzle, and bottled water are provided. Toilets and accessible toilets are available onsite, with accessible parking and water stations on course. The event does not use official run timing. Dogs on leash are permitted across the site and course. Parking is available around the park and the site can be reached by driving, biking, bus, or walking.
