EAGLE'S BACKYARD ULTRA 2027
EAGLE'S BACKYARD ULTRA 2027 is the second edition held from 15 to 18 May 2027 at Réservoir Beaudet in Victoriaville. The event uses a repeated-loop format in which each participant must complete a fixed course loop every hour until they fail to finish within the allotted time or choose not to start the next loop.
Each loop measures 6.7 km. All runners must complete each loop in less than 60 minutes. A runner who does not complete a loop is recorded as DNF. The winner is determined when only one runner completes a loop and all others have dropped out or failed to finish.
Before the first loop there is bib pickup and a pre-race meeting. Participants may have up to three crew members identified before the start for the duration of the event. No assistance may be provided to a runner once their loop has started. Runners may leave the course only to use the toilet and must be in the start area before the next loop begins. Runners must keep their bib, bracelet, or ankle band at all times while competing.
After completing a loop, runners may go to the designated rest area and receive crew assistance. Spectators are not allowed in the rest area but may encourage runners along the course. Failure to follow the rules can result in disqualification. The event has a no refunds policy. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
