About the race
The Energa Gdańsk Maraton is a multi-day sporting event scheduled for April 24-25, 2027, in Gdańsk, Poland. The event features a variety of running distances and formats to accommodate different participants:
- Marathon: A full-distance race (42.195 km) taking place on April 25.
- Marathon Relay: A team-based version of the marathon distance.
- 5 km Run: A shorter distance race known as "Czaniecka Piątka."
- Junior Marathon: Specific races and activities designed for younger participants.
The marathon course is designed to lead runners through the city of Gdańsk, and the event includes an Expo Zone for participants and visitors. For those preparing for the race, the "Brooks Be Ready" initiative provides training plans, nutritional advice, and access to professional coaches.
Registration for the 2027 edition opened on June 1, 2026. The event is co-financed by the City of Gdańsk and the Pomeranian Voivodeship, with organization handled by Energy Events.
