Zwartberg Trapsuutjies Fietsren & Hardlooproete
Zwartberg Trapsuutjies is a combined mountain bike and trail running event in Prince Albert, Western Cape. The event starts and finishes at the NG Kerk Prins Albert and uses routes in the surrounding Karoo landscape.
Routes include a range of distances for different interests and equipment:
- 63 km MTB : long mountain bike route
- 42 km MTB : intermediate mountain bike distance
- 63 km E Bike : dedicated e bike category
- 19 km MTB : shorter mountain bike option
- 12 km Trail Run : off road running distance
- 5 km Fun Walk : family friendly walking route
Course sections pass through Karoo scenery with views of the Swartberg Mountains and include parts near the Swartberg Pass. The event coincides with a church bazaar at the NG Kerk, and nearby visitor sites mentioned include the historic Swartberg Hotel and the Showroom Theatre.
