About the race
The Salomon Zugspitz Ultra Trail powered by Ledlenser by UTMB is presented as Germany’s largest trail running event. It takes place in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and is listed on the UTMB World Series calendar for 17 to 19 June 2027. The event draws over 5,000 athletes, around 50 exhibitors, and thousands of visitors. Races at the event cover a wide range of distances and elevation profiles, including: - ZUT100, 167 km, 8205 m+ - Ultratrail, 107 km, 5280 m+ - Ehrwald Trail, 86 km, 4295 m+ - Leutasch Trail, 68.5 km, 3100 m+ - Mittenwald Trail, 44 km, 2110 m+ - Garmisch Partenkirchen Trail, 29 km, 1565 m+ - Grainau Trail, 16 km, 760 m+ The programme groups multiple race categories and terrain profiles across the Garmisch-Partenkirchen region.
