The 1st Annual zOMbiE Run 5k takes place on October 24, 2026 at POLYTECH High School in Woodside, Delaware. The event raises funds for the Polytech Business Department.

The listed registration fee for the 5K is $28.38; listed prices include mandatory charges. The competitive walking division requires participants to walk the entire course with no running or jogging permitted. Participants who plan to run and walk should register for the 5K run/walk rather than the competitive walking division.
Amenities include race shirts and post race refreshments with music. Timing is chip based using the MYLAPS BibTag system provided by R2R Timing. Top finisher awards for overall and masters are scored by gun time; all other age group awards are scored by chip net time. Awards include overall male and female, male and female masters, top three in ten year age groups from 13 and under through 80 and over, and top three male and female walkers.
Policies note that dogs are not allowed due to insurance liability, bibs are non transferable, and registrations are non refundable.
