Zombie Mania overview
Zombie Mania takes place on October 10, 2026 in Rexburg, Idaho. The main event is a 5 km loop that runs through Nature Park and Eagle Park.
Participants wear flag belts that represent their health. Volunteers dressed as zombies try to remove those flags as runners move along the course. Zombies may appear from vegetation along the route.
The course is described as flat and is presented for participants of any age or fitness level. The route begins at Nature Park and loops through Eagle Park. Participants may proceed at their own pace.
A separate costume run covers 1 mile through Nature Park and Eagle Park. This costume run does not include volunteers appearing on the course and is scheduled before the main event, making it suitable for children or adults who prefer not to have volunteers appear as zombies.
