The collapse caused about $500 million in damage, resulted in eleven fatalities, and made thousands homeless in towns such as Wilford, Sugar City, Rexburg, Salem, Hibbard, Firth, Blackfoot, and Roberts. The event draws participants from across the country and typically fields more than a thousand runners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
