Zeta Omega 5K Run/Walk for Scholarship
The event takes place on August 29, 2026, at Bedford Reservation, Egbert Picnic Area on the Buckeye Trail in Bedford, Ohio. It offers two timed and untimed options for participants who wish to run or walk different distances.

The event is presented as a health meets education fundraiser supporting the Zeta Omega Scholarship Fund. The fund has donated thousands of dollars to students in Northeast Ohio and provided over $15,000 in scholarships during the past five years. This is the 10th annual edition and the event is expected to attract over 150 participants.
Race amenities include a participant t-shirt, post-race refreshments and snacks, a sponsor swag bag, on-site health education vendors, and music from a professional DJ before and after the runs. Cash awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers in the 5K and to top finishers in age groups.
Registration information for each event is listed by the organizer. The listed registration fees are $35 for the 5K and $30 for the one mile.
