ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk : Chicago
The ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk in Chicago is a fundraising event held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Warren Park (6601 N Western Ave). The event is offered as an in-person run/walk with a virtual participation option through the RunGo app. Distances available include:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Walk
- Kids Dash
The day includes survivor and caregiver recognition and family-friendly activities. Virtual participants can use the RunGo app to follow a course of their choice and access features such as a real-time leaderboard, downloadable playlist, and photo sharing. Virtual participants remain eligible for the same recognition rewards as in-person participants.
Participation requires free registration. The event is a peer-to-peer fundraising effort supporting ZERO Prostate Cancer programs that provide education, screening access, navigation for treatment and insurance, emotional support, advocacy, and health equity initiatives. Fundraising incentives include an official Run/Walk t-shirt mailed to participants who raise at least $100 by the specified deadline; survivors and patients receive a complimentary shirt if they register by the deadline. Shirts are mailed and are not available for pre-event or event-day pickup.
Accommodations for disabilities can be provided if requested at least seven days before the event. Fundraising can continue after the event for a limited period and participants may earn recognition rewards based on posted donations.
