Zachary Rotary Bunny Hop
The Zachary Rotary Bunny Hop is the 5th annual community running event held in Downtown Zachary at 4630 Virginia Street, Zachary, LA 70791. The event includes two organized distances that start and finish near the gazebo in Downtown Zachary.
- 1 mile fun run/walk
- 5K run/walk
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the event at the Downtown Zachary gazebo. Registration fees vary by date with an early-registration price for the 5K and increments closer to race day; a t-shirt is provided to participants who register by February 19, 2026. Prices listed on the event page apply to each distance.
The 5K awards medals to the overall male and female finishers and to first-place male and female finishers in the following age groups: 19 and younger, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over. Every finisher of the 1 mile run/walk receives a medal.
The 5K route begins in front of Virginia Street Snowballs and follows local streets including Lee Street, Old Baker Road, Chestnut Street, 39th Street, N Cedar, Cedar, Hemlock and Karen Elizabeth before returning to the start/finish area.
