Zachary M. Martin Memorial Run/Walk
The Zachary M. Martin Memorial Run/Walk is an annual event held at Blanchard Park in Orlando. This event is organized by a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation to support veterans and discharged military personnel who are navigating the challenges of PTSD. All funds raised are dedicated to providing assistance to those in need of post-service support.
The event is designed to be inclusive for various participants. Children aged 12 and under can take part for free, and the course is accessible to wheelchair users. Specialized registration discounts are provided for students, active military members, and first responders.
The run incorporates several technical features for participants. Each runner is chip-timed to ensure accurate results. Attendees have access to event photography through the Selfie Results TV kiosk, and a free digital photograph is provided to each participant as they cross the finish line. Additionally, every participant receives memorial military-style dog tags as a commemorative item for the event.
