You Yangs Off-Road Festival
The You Yangs Off-Road Festival takes place in the You Yangs Regional Park in Victoria. The event features a combination of duathlon distances and trail runs set within a landscape of granite peaks and forested single tracks. The courses utilize wide-open trails and rugged terrain characteristic of the regional park surroundings.
Participants can choose from several event categories involving running, walking, and mountain biking:
- Long Course Duathlon: 6 km run, 28 km mountain bike, and 6 km run.
- Short Course Duathlon: 3 km run, 14 km mountain bike, and 3 km run.
- 10 km Run: A dedicated trail running event.
- 7 km Run: A dedicated trail running event.
- 4 km Run/Walk: A shorter trail event for runners or walkers.
The duathlon events are open to individual participants or two-person relay teams. All participants receive a finishers medal upon completion of their course. Early entries are eligible for personalized race bibs.
