Yorkshire Reservoir Dogs : Punk Panther
Yorkshire Reservoir Dogs is a trail running event on Saturday 26 September 2026 around reservoirs near Otley. The route, devised by the organiser, follows waterside paths and passes seven reservoirs. Named reservoirs include Lindley Wood, Swinsty, Fewston, Thruscross, John O’Gaunt, Beaver Dyke and Scargill; Eccup reservoir is included on the longer route. Other notable trail features include Stainburn Forest and Almscliffe Crag.

- 13 miles (half marathon)
- 20 miles
- 32 miles (ultramarathon)
Climb for each distance is listed as approximately 1400, 1900 and 3500 feet respectively. ITRA points are 1, 1 and 2 and UTMB qualification credits are Q20K for the shorter distances and Q50K for the longest. Minimum age is 18 and the event limit is 200 entrants.
Logistics and safety notes: registration and finish are at The Bridge Church, Cattle Market St, Otley. A nearby car park is used at the end of Bremner Street off the A659 Pool Road. Checkpoints provide water, coke, energy bars and crisps. All ultramarathon entrants receive a tracker; runners in shorter races may hire a tracker for £15. A mandatory kit list applies to all distances and random kit checks may be carried out. Support crews should avoid official checkpoints except Swinsty and Stainburn. Dogs are permitted on the route subject to organiser rules, but dogs are not allowed inside the church at registration or finish. Every finisher receives a medal and an event T-shirt unless they opt out. Trophy and other specific event details are provided by the organiser.
