Event overview

Punk Panther Yorkshire Reservoir Dogs is a trail running event organised by Punk Panther Ultra Marathons on 26 September 2026 in the Otley area (LS21). Entries open 28 September 2025 and close 13 September 2026. The event has a maximum of 200 entrants. Distances offered cover half marathon to ultramarathon formats and are listed below.

Each distance has a listed total climb of approximately 1,400, 1,900 and 3,500 feet respectively. ITRA points and UTMB qualification points are allocated to the distances.

Course and logistics

The route passes seven reservoirs including Lindley Wood, Swinsty, Fewston, Thruscross, John O’Gaunt, Beaver Dyke and Scargill; the longer route also includes Eccup reservoir. Notable terrain features include Stainburn Forest and Almscliffe Crag. Provisional GPX files and a route description are available from the organiser and a final version will be emailed with last-minute instructions.

All ultramarathon entrants receive a tracker; half marathon and 20 mile entrants may hire a tracker for a fee. Checkpoints provide water, cola, energy bars and crisps. Registration and the race finish are at The Bridge Church, Cattle Market Street, Otley LS21 1RW. Every finisher receives a medal and an event T-shirt unless they opt out.
