Schools Out 6 Hour Challenge

The Schools Out 6 Hour Challenge is a timed running event held at Bustardthorpe Changing Rooms near York. Participants run loops of a 3.65-mile flat course on paved paths, avoiding service tracks, with the route looping around York College. The event encourages camaraderie, as runners share a short section of the path in both directions.

Runners can complete as many laps as they wish within six hours, with half and full marathon distances marked. Facilities include free parking, toilets, showers, and a well-stocked aid station. The event is cupless, so runners bring their own bottles for refreshments.
