Event Overview
The York Hospital 5K is a community road race taking place on a Saturday in June in York, Maine. It is a running and walking event open to all ages.
Course Details
The 5K route starts and finishes at the hospital campus. It goes over the Wiggly Bridge, follows the York River, passes through Steedman Woods, and goes by the York Golf & Tennis Club before returning.
Registration & Fees
Registration is open to individuals and families. Fees are $25 for ages 14 and older, $10 for ages 13 and under, and $50 for families or groups of up to five participants. Online registration closes on the Thursday before the race. Paper registration forms for cash, check, or credit card payment are available on race day, with no extra fee.
Bib pickup for pre-registered participants is available on the Friday before the race and on race morning at the Henry Warner Conference Room in the hospital's Henry Warner Building.
Event Details & Amenities
The event takes place rain or shine. Prizes are awarded to the top male and female finishers in each division. Fruit, granola bars, and water are provided to all participants.
