YMCA of the Iowa Mississippi Valley McCarthy-Bush Turkey Trot
The YMCA of the Iowa Mississippi Valley McCarthy-Bush Turkey Trot is scheduled for November 26, 2026 in downtown Davenport at the R. Richard Bittner YMCA, 630 E. 4th St., Davenport, IA 52801. This is the 39th annual edition of the event.
The program includes multiple distance options, with chip timing used for the timed adult distances and opportunities for walkers as well as runners.
- Kids race ages 2 to 10, 200 m and 400 m dashes
- 1 mile chip timed for runners and walkers
- 5K chip timed for runners and walkers
- 5 miles chip timed for runners and walkers
- Out of Town Trotter virtual option with shirt and bib
Registration opens July 1, 2026. Registration fees listed by the organizer show $35 for most adult distances and the virtual option, and $17 for the kids race. Some event registrations close on September 3, 2026; other entries close on race day.
The event is presented by the YMCA of the Iowa Mississippi Valley and takes place on Thanksgiving morning.
