About the race
The YLS 5K Run for Veterans Rights is an in-person 5K held at Okeeheelee Park in West Palm Beach, Florida on 11/07/2026. The course distance is 3.1 miles and the park address is 7715 Forest Hill Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL 33413.
Registration opens April 6, 2026 and closes October 5, 2026. The standard registration fee is $40.00. A youth registration category is available for participants 18 years of age and younger with a fee of $20.00. Participants who register by October 17 will be eligible to receive a correctly sized event shirt; registrations after October 17 may not receive a shirt.
Awards are planned for multiple categories, including the top three overall finishers for men and women, the fastest attorney and fastest jurist for men and women, the fastest team or law firm, and the top three men and women in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County’s Veterans Advocacy Project. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
