Yarra River Running Festival 2026 at Westerfolds Park
The Yarra River Running Festival takes place on Sunday 23 August 2026 at Westerfolds Park, Fitzsimons Lane, Templestowe, Victoria. The event offers multiple race distances on the Westerfolds Loop and trails along the Yarra River, plus an event village and post-race presentation.
Available distances include:
- 21.1 km Half Marathon
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 2 km Family Dash (Dopamine Lab)
All participants receive a finisher’s medal, post-race refreshments, sponsor giveaways, and an online finisher certificate. Interactive course maps are provided for the Half Marathon, 10 km and 5 km; a 2 km course map is noted as coming soon. Listed registration prices include mandatory charges; example fees shown are A$95 for the Half Marathon, A$62 for 10 km, A$48 for 5 km and A$35 for the 2 km Family Dash.
Entry transfers and distance changes are allowed up to three days before the event, with a A$15 administration fee for transfers. Refunds follow a sliding schedule: full refund less A$15 up to eight weeks before the event, reduced refunds between eight and two weeks, and no refunds within 14 days. If the event is postponed entries are transferred to the new date; where rescheduling is not possible partial refunds or charity donation options are described.
