About the race
The Yarra River Running Festival presented by Sa1nt takes place at Westerfolds Park in Templestowe on Sunday 23 August 2026. The event offers multiple course options along the Westerfolds Loop and beside the Yarra River, with an event village and race-day services.
Participants can choose from these distances:
- 21.1 km Half Marathon
- 10 km Runners Paradise 10 km
- 5 km
- 2 km Dopamine Lab Family Dash
All finishers receive a Yarra River finisher’s medal, post-race refreshments, sponsor giveaways, and an online finisher certificate. Interactive GPX course maps are provided for the Half Marathon, 10 km, and 5 km; the 2 km family course map is listed as coming soon. An athlete event guide is available for competitors.
Entry fees are published per distance and may vary by registration period. Transfer and refund rules are specified: partial refunds apply up to certain cut-off windows before the event, transfers between participants or to different distances are permitted with an administration fee, and no refunds are available within 14 days of the event. Organisers outline procedures for postponement, cancellation, and handling of entries if the event cannot be rescheduled.
