Yarra River Running Festival 2026
The Yarra River Running Festival takes place on Sunday 23rd August 2026 at Westerfolds Park, Fitzsimons Lane, Templestowe, Victoria. The event uses the Westerfolds Loop and trails along the Yarra River and includes an event village and presentation.
Participants can choose from these race distances:
- 21.1 km Half Marathon
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 2 km Dopamine Lab Family Dash
All finishers receive a Yarra River finisher medal, post-race refreshments, sponsor giveaways, and an online finisher certificate. Interactive GPX course maps are provided for the Half Marathon, 10 km and 5 km courses, with a 2 km course map noted as coming soon.
Registration fees listed for the event include A$95 for the Half Marathon, A$62 for the 10 km, A$48 for the 5 km and A$35 for the 2 km Family Dash. Entry transfers to another person or to a different distance are allowed up to three days before the event and incur a A$15 administration fee. Refunds follow a sliding scale: full refund less A$15 up to eight weeks before the event, then 75% between six and eight weeks, 50% between four and six weeks, 25% between two and four weeks, and no refunds within two weeks of the event.
Volunteer roles are available and include complimentary Race Hub Australia merchandise, a complimentary future race entry to the value of A$60, and a post-event breakfast.
