Yarra River Running Festival - Westerfolds Park
The Yarra River Running Festival takes place at Westerfolds Park, Fitzsimons Lane, Templestowe, on 23 August 2026. The event offers multiple timed runs over mapped courses that use the Westerfolds Loop and paths beside the Yarra River.

Participants receive a Yarra River finisher’s medal, post-race refreshments, sponsor giveaways, and an online finisher certificate. Interactive course maps are provided for the half marathon, 10 km, and 5 km courses; a 2 km course map is listed as coming soon.
Volunteer roles are available for race day. Registered volunteers receive Race Hub Australia merchandise, a complimentary entry to a future race (to the value of A$60), and a post-event breakfast.
Entry transfers and refunds follow published policies: transfers to another person and changes of distance are permitted up to three days before the event with a A$15 administration fee. Refunds are scaled by date before the event: 75% up to six weeks, 50% between four and six weeks, 25% between two and four weeks, and no refunds within two weeks of the event.
