Yardley 5K
The Yardley 5K Run and Walk is a community athletic event held in Yardley Borough, Pennsylvania. This event is part of the Bucks 5K Series and is currently in its 17th year. Participating runners and walkers follow a route that begins and ends on West Afton Avenue near the local Starbucks.
The course is designed to highlight local landmarks and natural scenery. Participants travel east toward the Delaware River along Afton Avenue before heading north on River Road for approximately 1.25 miles. This section of the route provides views of the river as participants pass under the Scudder Falls Bridge. The path then turns onto Woodside Avenue and transitions to the Delaware Canal towpath for about one mile.
The final segment of the race proceeds along Edgewater Road and Edgewood Road to Brown Street. The course returns south on River Road and then turns west back onto Afton Avenue to reach the finish line. Registration is open to participants of all ages.
