XTERRA Portland : Gaston, Oregon
XTERRA Portland takes place on August 1, 2026 in Gaston, Oregon. The event is part of the XTERRA World Tour and features off-road triathlon and related races at Hagg Lake - Bobcat Cove. The bike and run legs are mostly on trails around Hagg Lake. A mountain bike is required for the Full Triathlon and the Duathlon; gravel bikes are not allowed for those events. The Super Sprint allows all bikes except electric bikes. In past years water temperatures have been around or above 71°F; wetsuits have been optional. Online registration closes on July 29 and on-site registration is available during packet pickup on the Friday before the race and the morning of race day. Camping is allowed Friday night at Hagg Lake for a fee of $40 per vehicle plus $5 per person. There are no refunds on entry fees; transfers and limited refund exceptions apply. There is a course cutoff at 1:30 pm; athletes continuing after that time will not receive an official time or course support. Volunteer options include registration discounts.
