XTERRA North American Championship - Pelham, AL
The XTERRA North American Championship takes place May 14 to 17, 2026 at Oak Mountain State Park, 200 Terrace Dr, Pelham, AL 35124. The event spans multiple days and combines off-road triathlon and trail race formats under the XTERRA organization.
The full distance triathlon comprises a 1.5K swim, a 33K mountain bike, and a 10K trail run. For amateur competitors, 58 full-distance slots into the XTERRA World Championship are available. Elite racers compete for prize money totaling 30,000 USD.
Sprint and Super Sprint distances are included and serve as qualifiers for the XTERRA Youth World Championship. The program also lists shorter trail runs, including a 5K and a 10K event. Relay entries are offered so two- or three-person teams can enter Sprint or Full distance categories.
