XTERRA North American Championship
The XTERRA North American Championship is a three day off-road triathlon and trail running event held May 21 to 23, 2027 at Oak Mountain State Park in Pelham, Alabama. The program combines multi-sport races with a festival atmosphere that includes live music, food trucks, beer gardens, and kids races. Volunteer roles are available for course marshals, timing, and aid stations.
The event features youth championships alongside elite and age-group competition. Multi-sport athletes are required to hold a USA Triathlon license or purchase a one-event Bronze Membership for coverage. The event program lists an elite prize purse of $30,000 and 56 World Cup slots.
Races include several off-road triathlon formats and a trail run. Distances on the schedule include:

- Short Track Triathlon: SWIM 400M BIKE 7.5K RUN 3K

- 5K Trail Run: RUN 5K
