XMiles Preston Half Marathon & 10K
XMiles Preston Half Marathon & 10K is scheduled for 19 September 2027 and takes place in Preston city centre, with the event village located at Winckley Square (PR1 3JJ). The event serves as the final race in the XMiles North West Road Run Series and is the second edition of this city race.
The event offers the following distances:

- 10K
The course starts and finishes in Winckley Square and follows city centre streets before passing through Avenham and Miller Parks. Runners follow riverside sections along the River Ribble, cross at Walton Bridge, use parts of the Old Tram Road and a nearby nature reserve, then cross the Ribble again at Penwortham Old Bridge to return through the parks into the city. The 10K completes one lap of the route while the Half Marathon completes two laps. The course is fully UKA licensed and accurately measured.
Entries include aid stations, course support, electronic timing, online results, a custom finishers medal, fully signed route, free photos and video, and on-course music. Entry prices are listed for early entry and a UKA member rate is available. Parking is available in Preston city centre. Event guidance notes and participant lists are provided for entrants.
