Wyre Tram Route Half Marathon
Wyre Running presents the inaugural Tram Route Run, a point to point half marathon following the historic tram route from Squires Gate, Blackpool to Marine Hall Gardens, Fleetwood (FY7 6HF). The course passes through the coastal towns of Blackpool, Bispham, Cleveleys, Rossall, and Fleetwood and offers sea views along sections of the route.
The event is supported by City Electrical Factors and holds an ARC permit. Entry is limited to 250 places. The distance is a Half Marathon and there are four water stations provided en route. A runners only bus transfer is available from Marine Hall to the start for those who select that option on entry. Registration takes place at Marine Hall Gardens.
Entry fee listed is £27.64. The event date is 13 September 2026. Start and finish locations are Squires Gate (Tram Start Depot, Squires Gate Lane, Blackpool, FY4 1SY) and Marine Hall Gardens, Fleetwood respectively. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
