Wyandotte Firecracker 5k
The Wyandotte Firecracker 5k takes place on July 4, 2026, at the Theatre Lot at First and Elm in downtown Wyandotte, Michigan. The event is organized by Conz Productions and includes a community 5k road race and a separate youth dash.
Event distances:
- 5k (3.1 miles)
- 200 m dash for ages 5–10 (free)
Registration opens March 24, 2026. The 5k early fee is $40 through June 14; a higher fee applies after that date. Registrations completed by June 15 are guaranteed a race T-shirt. Registrations after June 15 remain eligible for a medal, and registrations within five days of the race are not guaranteed a medal. The youth 200 m dash does not include a T-shirt or a medal.
Packet pickup location has not been confirmed; details will be announced to registered participants once finalized. Volunteer opportunities are available to support event operations.
As part of the July 4 observance, $5 from each 5k registration fee will be donated to a local veterans organization selected from a provided list.
