Wyalusing North Branch Triathlon
The Wyalusing North Branch Triathlon is an annual multi-sport event organized by the Greater Wyalusing Chamber of Commerce. Participants compete on a course that returns to its original layout, utilizing the Grovedale Winery in Wyalusing, Pennsylvania, as the central hub for the start and finish lines.
The event includes three distinct continuous legs:
- A running segment led by a pace car to the Terrytown Launch.
- A kayaking segment on the river, assisted by staff from Endless Mountain Outfitters.
- A cycling segment to complete the course.
Safety regulations require all participants to wear and hook a life jacket during the kayaking portion and a helmet during the biking portion. Water stations are located near the Terrytown Cemetery and at the transition point at Endless Mountain Outfitters.
Registration is available for individual participants in age group or open categories, as well as for teams. For team entries, the timing chip is attached to the bicycle of the team member performing the cycling leg.
The venue at Grovedale Winery hosts post-race activities including awards, food, and live music. Spectator viewing is encouraged at the Endless Mountain Outfitters location rather than the launch site due to space limitations.
