Worthing Runfest 2027
Worthing Runfest takes place on 2 May 2027 and comprises three separate races held in Worthing. The event has been run since 2015 and uses fully closed roads along the seafront, with the route passing Worthing Pier. Organisers describe the courses as pancake flat.
The event programme includes these races:
- Worthing Half Marathon
- Worthing Runfest 10K
- Worthing Family Mile
Both the 10 km and the half marathon are accurately measured to IAAF standards and the event holds a RUN ENGLAND licence, Licence ID: #28236. Official chip timing is used for recorded finish results. Finishers receive a male or female cut technical t-shirt, a bespoke medal and a goody bag that includes post race snacks and drinks.
Additional event features listed by the organiser include road closures, a music after party in the Beach House grounds, and an official bottle opener medal. The event notes volunteer roles such as marshals, baggage, water station and finish line support.
