Event overview
The Worthing Half Marathon takes place on 3rd May 2026 in Worthing, West Sussex. The race starts and finishes on the seafront next to Worthing Pier, with the event village and after-party located in Beach House Grounds (BN11 2EJ). The event is a half marathon held on a fully road-closed, flat road course and is a Run England licensed event (Licence ID: 28236). The minimum age to enter is 17 years on race day.
Course, entry and services
The course is fully marshalled and has four water stations at approximately 4 miles, 7 miles and 9.5 miles. The event provides official chip timing, pacemakers, sweep marshals and full professional first-aid cover. Every entrant receives a bespoke medal, male and female cut technical t-shirt, a goody bag and post-race snacks and drinks. A music after-party is held in the Beach House Grounds.
Standard entry periods and fees are listed for entries opening 21 August 2025 through late entry in March–April 2026, with club and non-club fee tiers (early club entry shown as £36 + £2.50 transaction fee; early non-club entry shown as £38 + £2.50 fee; late entry fees higher). Prizes include gift cards for male and female 1st to 3rd places (£75, £50, £25). Race numbers can be collected on race morning or from specified local collection points in the weeks before the race.
