World Triathlon Cup Edmonton, July 16 to 19, 2026 : Hawrelak Park
The event at Hawrelak Park features elite racing alongside amateur and age-group events, with several races offering qualifying spots for 2027 championships. Multiple formats use lake swims, roads and river valley trails.

- Sprint cross triathlon: swim 500 m, bike 10 km, run 4.5 km

Most races require athletes to be 16 years or older on December 31, 2026; the para sprint triathlon minimum is 15 years. The sprint duathlon is the only draft-legal road event. Cross formats use a mix of single track, double track and cross-country trails connecting Hawrelak Park and adjacent river valley areas. Several events allocate specified qualifying spots for the 2027 World Triathlon Multisport Championships and for the 2027 World Triathlon Championships in Hamburg.
