Woodstock 5K : basic information
The Woodstock 5K takes place on Saturday, August 1, 2026, in Anniston, Alabama, at 1301 Woodstock Ave (Anniston High School campus). The event includes the following distances:
- 5K
- 1K (Kidstock; open to ages 1-11)
Entry fees listed on the event page are $35 for the Woodstock 5K and $20 for the Kidstock 1K. The race is part of the ARC FAB FOUR series as a bundled option.
Race details and logistics
The Anniston Runners Club hosts the event, designated as the RRCA Alabama State 5K Championship for 2026. The race typically draws more than 1,000 runners and walkers. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before at Anniston High School - Kilby House; other pickup options are available on race day. There is no race day registration.
Awards include overall and age-group honors; any individual who breaks the male or female course record will receive an additional $500 (up to $1,000 combined for overall winners). A Team Challenge offers cash prizes for the team with the most participants and for the fastest male, female, and coed teams. Water is provided at the finish and at two stops on course (Mile 1 and Mile 2). Strollers are permitted at the back of the starting line; bicycles, skates, hoverboards, and similar devices are not allowed on the course.
