Publix Woodstock 5K
The Publix Woodstock 5K is an annual running event held in Anniston, Alabama. Recognized as one of the oldest continuous footraces in the southeast, the 2026 edition serves as the RRCA Alabama State 5K Championship. The event typically hosts over 1,000 participants including both runners and walkers.
The course is located on Woodstock Avenue and features two water stations at the one-mile and two-mile marks. Water is also provided at the finish line. The event includes a post-race celebration with local vendors and an awards ceremony. Specific prize money is available for individuals who break the standing male or female course records.

- 1K (Kidstock)
The 1K event is reserved for children aged 1-11 years, and parents are permitted to run alongside their children. In addition to individual categories, the event features a Team Challenge. Cash prizes are awarded to the fastest male, female, and coed teams, as well as the team with the highest number of participants.
Packet pickup takes place at the Anniston High School campus on the day prior to the race and during a limited window on race morning. Official results are accessible via QR codes located on participant race bibs, with printed results at the timer tent showing time and overall placement.
