Publix Woodstock 5K
The Publix Woodstock 5K takes place in Anniston, Alabama on August 1, 2026. More than 1,000 runners and walkers typically attend. The 5K uses a course on Woodstock Avenue and includes two water stops located at Mile 1 and Mile 2. A post-race celebration features local vendors and awards for overall, masters, age groups, and teams. Any individual who breaks the existing male or female course record will receive an additional $500, creating a possible $1,000 total cash bonus for overall winners.
Practical notes include packet pickup at Anniston High School Kilby House on the day before the race, no race day registration, and printed results available near the timer tent. Course rules allow strollers at the back of the start area but prohibit bicycles, skates, hoverboards, and other vehicles. Service dogs are permitted with proper documentation and a guide runner may receive a complimentary entry for vision-related assistance.
