The Woodstock 5K in Anniston, Alabama, takes place on Saturday, August 1, 2026. The event is organized by the Anniston Runners Club and includes two race options:
- 5K (Woodstock 5K)
- 1K (Kidstock 1K; open to ages 1 - 11)
Entry fees listed on the organizer page are $35 for the Woodstock 5K and $20 for the Kidstock 1K. The race is part of an ARC series bundle option offered by the club. The event claims attendance of more than 1,000 runners and walkers and describes Woodstock as one of the oldest continuous footraces in the southeast. A course-record bonus of $500 is offered to any individual who breaks the male or female course record.
Location, logistics and rules
The race place is 1301 Woodstock Ave, Anniston, AL 36207 (Anniston High School area). Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race at Anniston High School - Kilby House; others may pick up packets with the registrant's confirmation or name. There is no race day registration. Water is provided on course and at the finish line, with two water stops listed at Mile 1 and Mile 2. Team Challenge prizes include cash awards for the team with the most participants and for the fastest male, female, and coed teams.
The event policy notes no refunds or deferrals; entries may be transferred with a $5 fee charged to the transferee. Dogs are not allowed on course except documented service dogs; strollers are permitted at the back of the starting area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
