Woodland Park Zoom
Woodland Park Zoom is a trail event in Woodland Park, Seattle, on June 9, 2026. Distances offered:
- 5k single loop of the course.
- 10k two loops of the 5k course.
The course passes open grassy areas and sparse forest that give a savanna-like character. It loops sports fields and follows trails through more deeply wooded ravines. The route varies from flat to gently rolling with short steep climbs and drops. The 5k is one loop; the 10k is two loops of that same circuit.
Aid stations are placed near the start/finish and along the course and provide water, Skratch Labs electrolyte drink, and a selection of carbohydrate or salty foods such as cookies, energy bar pieces, gels, chews, chips, bagels, fruity candy, fig bars, and bananas. The aid station by the start/finish enables 10k runners to replenish between loops.
A gravel parking lot is available near Whitman Ave N and N 50th St. Trails remain open to other users during the event, including pedestrians with pets and cyclists; participants are responsible for their own safety and should bring a cell phone for emergencies. Dogs are not allowed on the course under event USATF policies. After the run there are food items and awards for top finishers in Female and Open categories, and a raffle.
