Wonderful Water Run : Stevens Point, WI

The Wonderful Water Run takes place September 25-26, 2026 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, with Pfiffner Pioneer Park (1100 Crosby Ave) as the event location. The event includes in-person and virtual options and a kids' run. The course uses city trails, roads, and paths, runs along the Wisconsin River, and passes Lake Joanis. Packet pick-up is available on the Friday before the main race and on race morning at Pfiffner Pioneer Park. If the in-person half marathon, 10K, or 5K is cancelled, registrations for those events are moved to the corresponding virtual events.

myTEAM TRIUMPH, event features, and volunteers

The event hosts a myTEAM TRIUMPH (mTT) program with separate Angel and Captain categories for the half marathon, 10K, and 5K. Angels are able-bodied athletes who guide Captains, who are athletes with a disability. The mTT program includes a tailgate experience with yard games, drinks and snacks, music, activities, and a finisher photo booth. Volunteer roles are listed for expo staffing, packet pick-up, course marshals, water stop support, bag drop, medal distribution, finish-line assistance, photographers, and park setup.
