Event Overview
The Women's Night Challenge is a women-only night trail event. It takes place on Friday, October 2, 2026, in County Wicklow. This is described as an introductory night challenge to encourage participation in night running.
Course Details
The route follows the Sugarloaf Way. The race covers a distance of 7.00 km with a total climb of 277 m. A sweeper will be present during the event. The course is fully marked, and the use of GPS devices is permitted. Entry details for the event are pending.
Mandatory Gear
All runners must have trail running shoes and a head torch suitable for running at night. A back-up torch or spare battery is recommended. Mandatory kit also includes a showerproof, windproof jacket, which must be brought to the race. The final decision on what must be carried during the race will be confirmed at registration based on conditions.
Charity Donation
