Vestrum Women’s Fun Run & Walk 2026
The Vestrum Women’s Fun Run & Walk is an annual, female-focused community running and walking event organised by the Bunbury Runners Club. Proceeds for this edition will support Harbour Refuge and Nixi Young Families drivers program. The event follows a loop around the scenic Leschenault Inlet with the course starting and finishing in Queens Gardens.
The event offers multiple entry categories and public training sessions in the lead-up. Registration opens 1 August 2026 and entries are online only; there are no late or on-the-day entries. Race packs may be collected in the days before the event or on the morning of the event at Queens Gardens.
A short sprint event for 2 to 7 year olds is included; it takes place on the grassed area of Queens Gardens and accepts gold coin donations. Donations of new clothing and footwear for beneficiaries are accepted at training sessions and bib pick-up: items requested include underwear, leggings, T-shirts, sun hats, thongs, onesies, children's sneakers and school shorts.
Access and participant rules: the event is for females aged 8 and over, babies in prams are allowed, dogs and wheeled devices such as bikes or scooters are not permitted. The course is wheelchair accessible with some grassed sections.
