Women's Distance Festival - Springfield
The Women's Distance Festival is a women and girls running event held in Washington Park in Springfield, Illinois. The event includes a live two mile run/walk through the park and an untimed kids fun run for children age 12 and under. Strollers are welcome; pets are not permitted due to insurance restrictions.

Registration for the 2 mile events opens April 25 and closes May 27; the kids fun run has extended registration through race day. Fees listed by the organizer are $25 for the 2 mile live and virtual entries and $5 for the kids fun run. There is a shirt guarantee deadline in June for participants who wish to receive a race shirt.
Packet pickup is available curbside the day before at the Springfield Running Center and limited pickup is offered at Washington Park on race morning. Packets for live entrants not picked up before the race begins will be forfeited; there is no packet shipping option. Virtual participants may collect race packets curbside and are able to submit their results for up to one week after the event. Results will stream live and age group awards are offered across overall, masters, and multiple age divisions through 80 plus. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
