Women's Distance Festival 5K
The Women's Distance Festival is a community 5K event held on June 28, 2026 at Winrock Park in Winrock Town Center. The 39th edition features both a 5K run and a 5K walk.

The course is two loops around the outer perimeter of Winrock Town Center, with the start and finish on the east side of Winrock Park. Mile markers are placed at miles 1 and 2. Parking is plentiful on the east side of the park. A First Aid station will be provided. All finishers receive a flower and chocolates. Refreshments are available after the event.
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the event at Winrock Town Park between Dillard's stores, and also on race day. In-person registration at packet pickup or on race day accepts cash or check only; no credit cards for in-person registration. Mail-in registration with a check is an option, and online registration is available through RaceEntry.com when it opens.
Awards for the 5K run include top three overall finishers, top three masters, and top three in each age group. Awards for the 5K walk include top three overall finishers. Age groups start at 0-14 and continue in five-year increments through 75 and up.
Proceeds benefit Running 505, a local wellness program for 5th to 8th graders that promotes physical activity and education. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
