Location and Setting

The Peoplecare Wollongong Triathlon takes place in Wollongong, a coastal city in New South Wales, Australia. The event is based at 1 Marine Drive, with the finish line located at Lang Park. The course passes through a scenic coastal area featuring ocean views, Norfolk Pines, and two iconic lighthouses.

Event Format

The event offers multiple race formats. Participants can choose from the following individual or team relay options:

Standard triathlon
Sprint triathlon

TriKidz Aquathon (for ages 5-6, 7-9, and 10-11)
Aquabike

The Standard distance event also serves as an AusTriathlon National Age Group championship. The UniSport National Championship for university students will be held alongside the event for the Standard and Sprint distances. After finishing, there is a family-friendly festival at Lang Park.
