Event
The 13th annual Wolf Creek Trail Run takes place on April 4, 2026 at Wolf Creek Trail in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. The event is organized by the PB Kiwanis Club and the U.S. Forest Service and is listed as a public event by the Poplar Bluff Chamber. The race program includes the following distances:
- Half Marathon
- 6K run
- 1.7 mile walk (WTF - Walk The Forest)
The event is scheduled to run rain or shine.
Details
Registration fees are $35 for the 6K and 1.7 mile walk, and $40 for the half marathon; an additional $5 applies for day-of registration. Registration closes on April 3. Entry fees include a T-shirt; to be guaranteed a T-shirt on race day, participants must register by March 30 and provide a shirt size. Medals are awarded to the top two finishers in each 6K age division (male and female), to the top male and female half marathon finishers, and every half marathon finisher receives a medal. Age groups are Men and Women: 18 and under, 19-35, 36-50, and 51 and over. There are time limits for completion: the half marathon must be finished within 3 hours 15 minutes and the 6K within 1 hour. Shirts and bibs are available for pick-up at the north trailhead prior to the race start. Water stations will be placed at the north and south Wolf Creek road crossovers, with possible small water drops at the Crooked Branch intersection. The trailhead is on Forestry Road 3107 (also shown as County Road 429), about 0.60 mile north of the Highway Patrol Station. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
