Wolf Creek Trail Run : April 4, 2026
The PB Kiwanis Club and the U.S. Forest Service host the 13th Annual Wolf Creek Trail Run at Wolf Creek Trail near Poplar Bluff, Missouri. The event proceeds in rain or shine and raises funds for Kiwanis Bacon Memorial Park.
The event offers these distances:
- Half Marathon
- 6K
- 1.7 Mile Walk (WTF - Walk The Forest)
Entry fees are stated as $35 for the 6K and the 1.7 mile walk, and $40 for the half marathon, with an additional $5 for day-of registration at the trailhead. Registration closes April 3, 2026. All participants receive a T shirt; to be guaranteed a T shirt on race day, participants must register by March 30 and provide shirt size during registration. Shirts and bibs are available for pickup at the north trailhead before the event. No refunds.
Awards and time limits: medals are awarded to the top two runners in each 6K age division by gender and to the top male and female half marathon finishers; each half marathon finisher receives a medal. Time limits apply: the half marathon must be completed within 3 hours and 15 minutes, and the 6K within 1 hour. Participants who plan to walk should enter the Walk The Forest category.
Trail access notes: the trailhead is located off the outer road on Forestry Road 3107 (sometimes labeled County Road 429), about 0.60 mile north of the Highway Patrol Station. Water stations are planned at the north and south Wolf Creek road crossovers; additional small water drops may be placed at the Crooked Branch Trail intersection.
