Wishing Flower Walk & 5K
Organized by Project NICU, this event takes place at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo in Cleveland, Ohio on August 23, 2026. The program includes a chip timed 5K and a non timed 1 Mile event. A Dandelion Dash for children age 12 and under is held before the 1 Mile event.

Race fees include all day admission to the zoo. Participants receive a short sleeved t shirt and post event refreshments. Children in the Dandelion Dash receive a cape. Supporters age 2 and over require a wristband for zoo entry; wristbands must be collected at registration before registration closes. Zoo membership does not provide entrance during the event.
Pre registration opens May 1, 2026. Mailed entries must be received by Wednesday, August 19, 2026. Entry fees listed for event types in advance are three tiers: general 5K and 1 Mile fees and a supporter wristband fee; mailed entries require payment by check to Hermes Sports & Events and a mailing address is provided by the organizer.
