Wishing Flower Walk & 5K
Project NICU presents the Wishing Flower Walk & 5K at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo on August 23, 2026. The event offers a timed 5K and an untimed 1 mile course within the zoo grounds. Race fees include admission to the zoo for the day.

- 1 Mile Run/Walk
A Dandelion Dash for children age 12 and under takes place before the main events; participating kids receive a cape. The 5K is chip timed and the 1 mile is not timed. Participants receive a short sleeved event shirt and post event refreshments.
Supporter wristbands are available for purchase and are required for supporters age 2 and over. If a wristband is not collected before registration closes, a regular admission ticket must be purchased at the box office. Zoo membership does not grant entrance for the event; attendees must register as a participant or supporter to enter under the event arrangements.
All mailed entries must be received by Wednesday, August 19, 2026. Dogs are not allowed at the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
