Event Overview
The Wisconsin Marathon is a running event held on Saturday, April 25, 2026. It takes place in Kenosha, with the start line located near the Kenosha Civil War Museum. The event offers three distances: a marathon, half marathon, and a 5k.
What's New for 2026
Key changes for the 2026 edition include moving the race to an April date. There is an updated route for the 5k. An early start option for the marathon will begin 25 minutes before the main race start. All finishers in the 5k will also receive a medal.
Course & Features
The marathon and half marathon courses run along the Lake Michigan coastline, offering views of the lake and no gravel sections. The marathon course is a double loop. Pace groups will be available for marathoners aiming for finish times from 3:30 to 6:00.
Participants can pick up their race packets in the Chicagoland, Milwaukee area, Kenosha, or on race day. Packet mailing is also an option. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
