Course and event details

The course runs along the Lake Michigan coastline. The marathon course is a double loop. The marathon and half marathon courses have been changed to remove gravel sections. The 5K has an updated route for 2026. An early start option is available for marathon entrants. Pacers will lead groups for the marathon. Marathon and half marathon finishers receive the event’s Big Cheese Medal.

Packet pick-up is available in the Chicagoland area, the Milwaukee area, and Kenosha, with race day packet pick-up and packet mailing offered as options.
