Wirral Seaside Runs : Seaside Race 4

Seaside Race 4 is one event in the Wirral Seaside Runs series, organised by Pensby Runners. The series comprises six 5 km races held on the last Wednesday of the month from March to August. This instance takes place on 24 June 2026 at Leasowe Lighthouse, Moreton Common (CH46 4TA).

The course starts close to Leasowe Lighthouse and follows the sea embankment to a finish at Harrison Drive near the Lifeguard Station. The route is described as flat and fast and is used as a regular indicator of fitness and performance. Most competitors return on foot to the car park at the start; otherwise competitors need to arrange transport from the finish.

Entry is available for those aged 11 and over on the event date. The standard entry option for the race distance carries an entry fee of £9.50; UKA members receive a £2 discount upon verification. A guide entry option exists for guide runners who are guiding another paying entrant. Race numbers may be retained and reused for future events in the seaside series.
